Privacy notice

What Mythical Layers 3D collects, why, and how long it is kept. Last updated 9 September 2026.

What we collect

Quote requests: your name, email address, phone number (optional), city and state, shipping address when you choose shipping, the model link and your notes, and the address of the connection the request came from.
Emails: the messages we exchange about your order.
Saved details: when you order while logged in, the name, phone number, city, state and address from that order are kept with your login to fill in your next order form. Only your login sees them, and they are deleted when the login is removed.
Sign-up: the email address you sign up with, which becomes your login and where your temporary password and order emails go.
Site statistics: standard web-server logs (page requested, time, browser, connection address) and anonymous page counts. Visitors are not given tracking cookies; only staff logins use a session cookie.
AI creations: when a logged-in user asks the design tool for a model, the description they type is sent to the AI service that generates it.

To quote, print, ship and support your order, and to contact you about it.
To keep the site working and to spot abuse (for example, many requests from one connection).
We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Only the owner of Mythical Layers 3D and the staff logins handling orders.
Historical donation orders are kept privately for reference. New nonprofit printing support is handled separately by Print It Forward on aiacolyte.com; its request pages explain how submitted details are used.
Order emails are sent through Gmail; parcels are handed to the postal carrier with your name and address; card and PayPal payments are handled by those providers under their own privacy terms. We never see your full card number.

Order records and emails are kept for 2 years after the order for warranty and tax purposes, then deleted.
Server logs are kept for 90 days.
When a login is removed, its verified and future builds, filament stock, print history and search count are deleted. Orders are kept for the time above without the login, and the site's activity log is kept for security.
You can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time by email; we keep only what tax law requires.

The site runs over HTTPS. Order records are stored on our own server and backed up nightly; backups are kept for 30 days.
